i got some lighting for the home studio: a TD5 spiderlite.  not only does it emit a beautiful, natural light but the lights don't get hot.  it's the perfect supplement to the window light i get in the studio.  since the kids are at camp and jeff is at work, i had to bribe the dog to pose for me so i could play with the lights:
